It was nice talking to you today (May 14, 2009) morning. My both the girls were so excited to talk on Air. This was their 1st experience in life. Really you both talk in such a friendly and encouraging way that any kid can start talking with you as a known person. Generally Zeel (younger daughter) is very shy in nature and don`t talk so much even with the little known person. But today she was talking such a great way and that credit goes to you both. Really you make our every morning hilarious.
We thank you for your encouragement to kids in the morning like this. Today their faces were so bright while going school. Every morning they ask me to drive a car slow while dropping them to school so, that they can listen you both more.
Really we appreciate your efforts in this direction. You both are doing a great job for our community.

Guys
Your program rocks for its informal structure . There is very little `self
promotion` compared to other radio programs in Houston.
I have listened to everyone of the them including the other 33 radio hosts in 1180.
The vibe between Nayyar and Roop is amazing and I can easily relate to both of you.
Honestly, many times I have laughed out loud in my car while driving to work.
Three things, I would like to point out as constructive feedback.
First start time seems getting extended . I am losing my patience waiting. Today
meaningful start time was 7:22 AM.
Second, I think you may want to stay away from opiniated topics -like women should
study and work in par with men. While I fully subscribe to this view, I think we are
getting a bit like a pedagogue. I am seeing this trend developing in your station.
I listen to your radio for entertainment not for `bhashan`.
Lastly, certain callers hog the show for around 15 min before and after Direct TV
ad. I like the caller`s sense of humor but we like to hear more from you guys.
Please help me to not go back to npr after a gap of 3 months.

While I was driving this morning to my office and listening your program, I realized what a great service you both are doing to expose hidden talent of your listeners, and making their talent share with others on radio waves. Imagine, if you do not host the show in the morning in the format you do, how we listeners can benefit listening wonderful things from your other listeners. I really enjoy and I am sure whoever listens enjoys and those who do not they do miss. Keep it up Roop Rani and Nayyar, please.
One simple request if you can ..... This morning you requested two listeners to e-mail what they shared with you and other listeners ( one was English and Punjabi song if I am not mistaken ; and the other one was similar something I do not know what to name but I am sure you understand well what I am asking ). Can you add to your blog so that other also benefit and enjoy reading it again and again or if it is not possible then may I ask you to copy me the e-mail?
